Acrostic Poem Competition

We asked you to submit an Acrostic poem. It did not have to rhyme but must adhere to the theme of  WINTER SOLSTICE.

So the first letter in the two verses spell out WINTER SOLSTICE.

Winning entry is:-

Whiteness covering.
Its crisp particles
Now enveloping the stones.
Towering above all
Each standing firm.
Relating a timely call.

Sun rays illuminating
Over their outlines.
Left from olden times
Still they say the same.
To remember this day
In the winter months.
Chant those special words
Endlessly formed.
